Global Campus Competition: Photographer of Year 2017/18

Welcome to this year’s Global Campus Photographer of the year competition!

  • GC Photographer of the Year

Theme: ‘Where I live’

This year’s competition ties in with Nord Anglia Education’s collaboration with UNICEF. The competition theme, 'where I live', supports learning around Goal 11, Sustainable Cities and Communities. This goal is to make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.


Learning Focus

  • Develop and explore creativity

  • Explain ideas and concepts in a clear and concise way

  • Improve photography skills

  • Learn to take control of a camera to get the results you want


How to Participate

All children are welcome to participate in this competition. They have to provide one photo with the following information:

  • Name and class of child

  • Title of the photograph

  • Location the photograph was taken

  • Approximately 50 words explaining why the photograph was taken and how it fits the theme
