Richard Suter

Reception Sharks Class Teacher

I can always remember wanting to be a teacher and choosing teaching as a profession is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have always had a passion for teaching and this passion continues to grow with every year that I am teaching. I studied at the University of the West of England which is regarded as a great place for teachers to commence their training.

Since I qualified I have taught Key Stage 1 for 3 years and I absolutely love teaching the younger children. I really enjoy the energy that the small children have and I love being able to use their amazing imaginations to help create fun and stimulating lessons which engage the children. I am so excited about teaching Reception, I can’t wait to be their teacher on a long road of education for these amazing children! It is such a fun age to teach and I am sure the little ones will provide me with lots of fantastic memories.

I am extremely passionate about sports, I absolutely love football and my favourite team is Arsenal. I still try to play football as often as I can and I will be looking to join a team as soon as possible. I really enjoy a good cup of coffee and a book and I can find myself spending several hours at a café having a lovely time.

I can speak a tiny amount of Arabic from where I was teaching in Egypt and I will be finding a teacher as soon as I arrive to help me start learning my third language.
