Director of Communications

My lifelong love of learning and travel has introduced me to transformative people, places and ideas. So, I am thrilled to support the vibrant community of learners and educators as well as the culture of international awareness and celebration at British International School of Chicago.

I joined BISC as a communications professional with award-winning experience in media, marketing and communications. Each day, I have the pleasure of informing parents and families about our innovative and differentiated curriculum and activities.

I graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism and began my career at Harpo Productions, where I produced content for Oprah Radio and Oprah Winfrey Network. Most recently, I coordinated media relations and developed employee communications for a global investment research firm, and previously was a marketing and communications coordinator for an international association of architectural lighting designers.

Outside of work I enjoy spending plenty of time outdoors, especially when Chicago weather cooperates! A few of my favorite activities are taking walks through the city’s neighborhoods, perusing farmers markets and reading on my front porch. You’ll also find me in the kitchen, perfecting cupcakes or experimenting with new recipes, and spending time with my parents and “brothers,” two cats named Walter and Will. I also volunteer for the Greater Chicago Food Depository and local alumnae chapter of my sorority.
