With over fourteen years of teaching experience in Mainland China (Guangzhou), Macao and Canada, I have a passion of working with students and know well how to adapt to different personalities. So far, the number of my students, aged from one year old to fifty years old, has exceeded 3,000. I had worked as University Lecturer in Macao since I received my Master Degree of Arts in 2006. I published four academic papers in national journals and a textbook, Practical Mandarin for Tourism.
I have rich knowledge of education philosophy, teaching style, students’ needs and parents’ expectation in different culture backgrounds.
As a mother and teacher, I am interested in researching Early Childhood Education, especially in the field of children’s language development. I received a diploma of Early Childhood Education in Canada and once worked in thirteen education organizations, including regulated childcare centres, Toronto District School Board, Toronto Catholic District School Board, the biggest Chinese school and famous Montessori schools in Toronto.
I like reading and enjoy reading with my children every single night. I believe that reading can change our life. I hope all the children can experience their maximum learning potential through reading.
