The British School of Guangzhou’s tuition fees, which we’ve listed below by year group, cover your child’s formal academic education, including all teaching and learning. They also include other important elements of school life, such as our trailblazing Nord Anglia Education collaborations with MIT, UNICEF and The Juilliard School, and many after-school activities.

We do charge some additional fees, which are also outlined below. These include a one-off application fee, an enrolment deposit, and (optional) school bus service cost.

Additional fees

Alongside your child’s tuition fees, The British School of Guangzhou also charges some additional fees. These include a one-off application fee and a refundable enrolment deposit.

When do I need to pay?

You’ll need to pay your child’s school fees for the upcoming term or academic year on or before the dates listed below. Our annual payment discount of 5% only applies if you pay our The British School of Guangzhou’s fees by 15th June 2025.

Students who join us during the academic year will be charged on a pro-rata basis. Payment should be made before your child’s first day at school.

OUR STEP-BY-STEP ADMISSIONS PROCESS

Step 1

Discover our school

The best way to experience our school is to visit us, so please let us know your availability, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. We’re looking forward to answering all your questions and welcoming your family.

Step 2

Apply for a place

You’ll submit your online application form. Our admissions team will then contact you for supporting documents (passport copies, past school reports, and a signed conditions and declarations form) and the application fee.

Step 3

Take a pre-entry assessment

We’ll arrange for your child to sit for a pre-entry assessment. If you’re based overseas, we’ll request school reports, references, and online assessments as needed.

Step 4

Review our decision

Upon completion of the assessment and receipt of supporting documents, the Head of School will review your child’s application. We’ll proceed to place an offer, give reasons why we’re unable to, or put your child on our waiting list (if there aren't enough spaces available).

WITHDRAWAL NOTICE

To withdraw your child from The British School of Guangzhou, you’ll need to give us two months’ notice, in writing. Please email this to our A dmissions Office, and we’ll formally acknowledge your child’s withdrawal date.
If you submit your withdrawal notice during a public holiday, it will be deemed as received on the first day back at school. If you withdraw your child in the middle of a term, we won’t be able to offer a refund.
