I was originally educated in the U.K. where I gained my LLB in Law and Criminology which led to me working with a national crime reduction charity for 5 years. In this time I also completed my MA in Globalising Justice at the University of Lincoln. I have been at BSG, with my husband, since 2012 as a Teaching Assistant and Community Action and Charity Coordinator and as a fully qualified teacher.
I completed my PGCE with Nottingham University. Since being at the school I have gained experience in teaching Early Years, Year 3 and Year 4. My passion for teaching has grown over time and I have become very interested in international education. I am a keen reader and this is something that I see as very important for a child’s learning throughout all ages.
I have previously worked in France and Spain, however I thoroughly enjoy the challenges and experiences that China provides. Since being in China I have been able to travel extensively throughout Asia and most recently Australasia. I try to keep friends and family updated through a blog that I write, which I have become quite dedicated to and have had a few articles published with other travel websites. In my spare time I like to exercise, read, travel and spend quality time with my Miniature Schnauzer.
