Staff Profile: Miss N. Rowan

Miss N. Rowan

Director of Music

Miss Rowan's professional qualifications include a BMus (Hons) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).  She is currently completing an MBA in International Education with Keele University.

After two years of music and drama teaching at Dallam International School, I moved to become Head of Faculty at St. Benedict’s Catholic College where I stayed for 5 years, developing my leadership skills and taking on wider responsibilities. Whilst at the British School of Guangzhou in 2012, I was Head of House and KS4 Pastoral Leader, in addition to Head of Faculty.  Initially a Secondary trained teacher, I have ten years experience teaching a wide variety of GCSE courses, including Edexcel and OCR Music, BTEC Performing Arts at levels 3 and 4 and Edexcel A-Level Music.
