How to Think Versus What to Think

At NAIS Pudong, we are constantly presented with a wide variety of exceptional opportunities, ranging from the arts to sports, to academics... the list goes on. On Tuesday, we were extremely fortunate to welcome Anu Ojha OBE, the Director of the National Space Academy, back to our school, as he presented a compelling and thought-provoking lecture.

Message from Primary

The primary school has had something of a sporty feel to it this week, with our Year 4, 5 and 6 students taking part in the Fun Soccer Day at SAS Pudong, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday respectively. Luckily, the weather was very kind to each year group and the students and their teachers came back to school each day absolutely buzzing after having such a great time. In particular, all the teachers commented on the teamwork that was displayed by each class and how much they supported each other throughout the day. All the children were fantastic ambassadors for our school.

It has been another great week at NAIS Pudong. We welcomed Mr Anu Ojha OBE, Director of the National Space Academy to the school once again and we were delighted that he was able to spend some more time with our Year 10-13 students. I

Middle Leaders’ Programme

Being part of the Middle Leaders’ Programme, run by Nord Anglia University, is a great opportunity to get together with other like-minded professionals and ask some of the hard questions about our roles as leaders in various parts of the company in China.  The course sees leadership skills and effectiveness as keys to unlocking student potential and so the course is centred on how leadership can raise student achievement and opportunity.

In the primary school we didn’t even let the weekend stop us between last week and this week, and on Saturday our U9 and U11 football teams attended the first primary football fixtures of the season, which were held in Jinqiao.
