Principal's Message - 24th March

Mad March continues, with the school amidst of Shakespearean sonnets and characters taking us back in time. It certainly made us feel a little nostalgic today like we had stepped back in time when members of our alumni popped in to say hello. It’s always a pleasure to meet our IB graduates as they return for Easter holidays and hear how they now appreciate the positive impact their IB experience had on them, and the appreciation for the outstanding teaching they had during their time here. For many, they consider the school their home away from home. Of course, at the end of this year we celebrate 15 years of Nord Anglia in Shanghai -- where it all started here in Pudong.

From our Community Group - 24th March

As an approved Han Ban Examination Centre, our School is offering the YCT (Youth Chinese Test) on Saturday 13 May 2017. The test is open to our Y3-Y9 students, but is optional. This is an amazing opportunity for our students and we encourage all parents to read the email sent out by the school for further details.

From the Director of Music and the Arts

Rehearsals have entered the final stage, with a technical lighting rehearsal last weekend and two full run-throughs this week on Tuesday and Wednesday between 3.15-6.30pm. We are all so impressed with how diligently students have worked on this show. It is a challenging musical and the performers need to be focused at all times, with characters appearing and disappearing quickly after their scenes. All have to be on their toes!

Message from Secondary - 24th March

It has been a fabulous Shakespeare Week which ended on a high today with lots of our students dressing up in creative Shakespearean costumes! Students have enjoyed submitting Shakespearean sonnets and insults to their English teachers, looking for the hidden figure of William Shakespeare around the school as well as some lunch time performances.

Student's Voice: Benedicte Vestrum

In 2015, the UN announced 17 goals, the Sustainable Development Goals, that they wish to have achieved by the end of 2030. These goals are built upon the previous Millennium Development Goals (2000-2015), but are further reaching and have various targets for each specific goal. Some of the issues specified by the UN include education, equality, and economic growth.

Students Voice: Fernanda Bravo

Throughout the course of the week, we will have the chance to interact with around 80 more students from all Nord Anglia schools around the world. This will be a chance for us to share our views on such an important issue like sustainable development. We live in such an international and culturally diverse environment at NAIS Pudong

Youth Chinese Test

Youth Chinese Test

YCT:WHY The YCT is intended for students whose mother tongue is not Chinese. The results of the test can serve various purposes: 1. A method for Chinese language learners to assess and improve their proficiency in Chinese. 2. A reference for Chinese language training in schools. 3. A method for Chinese language training institutions to evaluate training results. 4. A benchmark for students who want to participate in the HSK test.
