From the Director of Music and the Arts

This week has seen the start of all of the Christmas performances. Last Friday, our Senior Vocal Group give two very polished and professional performances at the Kerry Parkside Hotel. It was a fantastic evening in which our choir was invited to perform twice (the only school to do so), as the Christmas tree was being lit.

Tigers Sport Report

Good luck to our NAIS Tigers U14 C1 Boys and Girls Football teams for their BSL Football Tournaments at Wellington College this Saturday morning. We also wish the best of luck to our NAIS Tiger Sharks Swim team for their Santa Splash Swim Meet at SCIS Pudong this Saturday from 7.00am – 5.30pm.

Message from Primary

The countdown to Christmas has truly begun, and since yesterday the Primary teachers have been playing Christmas music in their classrooms and getting in the festive spirit. This was of course helped by our Christmas Bazaar last week and it was fantastic to see so many of our families join us for the day and take part in our Christmas Games which each year group had prepared. From ‘Guess Santa’ in Year 6 to ‘Feed Santa’ in Early Years, there was a game to suit everyone and all the teachers really enjoyed seeing their students participate.

Pre-Nursery Sing-along

A special visitor came to join our youngest children as they enjoyed singing Christmas songs.

From the Community Group

Many thanks to all of you for supporting the Christmas Bazaar on Sunday – it was a truly wonderful day.  All the kids had fun and the Community Group raised over RMB 40,000 to support charities working with vulnerable children and adults within China.  Highlights included the beautiful singing by our school choirs, Santa visiting, the yummy food, great kids activities and of course the huge array of raffle prizes.
