Sarita initially studied for a Bachelors in Commerce and then completed her Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education, both from the University of Mumbai.

Sarita's teaching career began at a prestigious kindergarten in Mumbai, India, where she taught children in the Early Years for 5 years. After 9 years of teaching in India, she was happy to find a place at Dover Court when she and her husband relocated to Singapore due to his work. Sarita rejoined Dover Court in 2013 and has taught in Reception as well as ESL. Her 7 year old son also attends Dover Court and will start Year 3 in August 2016.

Having grown up in India, she has added to the cultural diversity of Dover Court by offering ECA’s like Bollywood Dancing and Yoga. Her hobbies include baking, swimming, cycling, travelling and playing various board games with her family.

She is a passionate and dedicated teacher and aims to create a happy and positive learning environment in the classroom. For her, teaching Early Years is both challenging and highly rewarding.
