Our secondary students follow the English National Curriculum, leading to IGCSE exams at age 16, and then progress to the IB Diploma or a combination of IB and BTEC courses. For students who need additional support, we provide adapted and fully personalised programmes, ensuring every learner can thrive and go further.

Years 7 - 8
From ages 11 to 13, your child will follow our broad and balanced Key Stage 3 English National Curriculum, enriched with a wide range of co-curricular opportunities. Students explore a diverse mix of subjects, including English, Maths, Science, Geography, History, Design Technology, Computer Science, Visual Arts, Music, Drama, PE, French or Mandarin, and Literacy skills.

Years 9 - 11
At Key Stage 4, your child will begin to shape their own journey, choosing four specialist subjects alongside the core of English, Maths, and Science. With IGCSE, GCSE, and BTEC courses available, they design a curriculum that reflects their passions and ambitions. This stage culminates in I/GCSE exams, providing invaluable experience with exam preparation and building the discipline and confidence to excel in the IB Diploma and beyond.

Years 12 - 13
By Sixth Form, your child will have a clear sense of their strengths and ambitions, ready to personalise their learning once again. Full IB Diploma students study six subjects at standard and higher levels, alongside Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS), the Extended Essay, and Theory of Knowledge. Others can combine IB and BTEC courses, with further options in Digital Skills (ICDL) and performance and communication through LAMDA. Pathway 3 students follow the DCIS Diploma, a broad and balanced route to future study or vocational pathways.

Pathway 1

Pathway 2
Pathway 2 follows an adapted English National Curriculum with the option to choose from IGCSEs and/or BTEC in Year 9, in line with Pathway 1, but with a higher level of support. With smaller class sizes and an individual learning plan (ILP), students receive the guidance they need to thrive academically while fully participating in school life. Classes are twinned with Pathway 1, giving every child the chance to build friendships, collaborate, and feel part of the wider community.

Pathway 3
Pathway 3 provides a supportive, fully personalised learning environment for students with more significant learning or social needs. In small classes of up to 8, with dedicated adult support, students follow individualised curricula tailored to their growth.In Secondary, students can work towards ASDAN qualifications, as well as our bespoke DCIS Diploma, preparing them for future careers and life beyond school. Learning and socialising alongside peers from other pathways helps them build friendships, confidence, independence, and a true sense of belonging.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)
Our EAL programme is designed to support students whose first language is not English, helping them gain confidence and proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Students benefit from tailored lessons with experienced EAL specialists, as well as additional support within the classroom. This personalised approach ensures they can fully access the curriculum, participate meaningfully in lessons, and learn alongside their peers.
