Staff Profile: Harini Ganesh

Harini Ganesh

DSE Pathways 4 Class Teacher (2HG)

Harini has a Masters degree in Inclusive and Special Education from Monash University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Education. She also has a Master's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics having previously worked as a dietician.

Prior to joining DCIS, Harini worked as a teacher in a Special Education school in Singapore. During this time she also completed her Master’s degree in Special Education. This allowed her to get hands-on experience of teaching in a full-time Special Education system, while pursuing her studies.

Prior to that, Harini spent 8 years working in mainstream international schools, handling curricular and co-curricular activities. Over the years, she has gained experience and strong expertise in managing and supporting the holistic developmental needs of children from 4 to 12 years of age.

Harini is a strong advocate of inclusive education and firmly believes that each child is gifted and has a unique learning ability.  She is extremely passionate about her capability to make a difference to each child’s learning abilities.  Harini delivers differentiated learning experiences to each child by building personalised engagement opportunities and relationships with them. She is highly motivated by the progress each child makes in their learning journey.

In her spare time, Harini likes to read, jog and swim. She also likes to travel and explore different places.
