Han Wang has a Master’s of Arts in Linguistics from the University College London (UCL) and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language from Harbin Normal University in China. He has over 11 years of experience teaching Mandarin Chinese.
After graduating from university, Han was selected from over 1,500 candidates as a one of eight volunteer teachers to teach Mandarin through the Confucius Institute in London. Afterwards, he continued his mandarin teaching career at Beijing International Chinese College – the largest private mandarin college in Beijing – for another six years. With a strong desire for further study, he went back to London again and obtained a Master’s of Arts in Linguistics. In September 2015, Han and his wife welcomed their first son who was born in the UK during his time at UCL. In his spare time, Han enjoys ice skating, running, and photography.
