To help our students develop their teamwork, communication and academic understanding how to survey areas to investigate predictions, the Year 9 students have been examining the local micro-climates at BIS.
The aim of this is to learn more about being more responsible in our local lives by finding out the best location for a sustainable garden, and what the importance of locally sourcing our foods is.

This comes of the back of our SDG Day where all students in Secondary learnt about the newly-launched Sustainable Development Goals (following the mixed-successes of the MDG's that have now expired).
