Mr Anthony Rowlands Weekly Update 26th June

This week, I have been in Hong Kong for a two day on a Nord Anglia Education (NAE) Induction Course for Principals who are new to the group. All four Principals from the BIS Vietnam Group of schools attended, along with two other new Principals from Cambodia and China. It was a very detailed induction course which gave us a clear insight into how the group operates. It was a pleasure to meet NAE personnel in the Hong Kong headquarters and reinforced my positive feeling about BIS Hanoi being a part of this premium organisation.

Of course, being away from school meant I sadly missed some very exciting events. I was told the Sound Bites concert in the library on Monday was once again a series of exceptional musical performances. Our Annual Primary Talent Show held on Wednesday showed, yet again, what talented and confident performers we have in the school. One event I did not miss was the Year 2 Exhibition which was a great display of  the children’s work  - congratulations to all concerned.

Our end of year assembly was a special way to bring the school together on the final day of our academic year and for us to celebrate great success together. After the assembly, the Secondary School held its first House Performances and it was an exciting house event.
