Mr Anthony Rowlands Weekly Update 22.01

I am writing this week from London where the recruitment of new teachers for the next academic year is going extremely well. The interest  in our school from potential teachers has been excellent and we have already made impressive appointments.

This week we were informed that we have been authorised to offer the International Baccalaureate  Diploma Programme (IBDP) from August 2016 onwards.

The IBDP is a challenging and holistic, qualification which, when completed, will give BIS Hanoi students an opportunity to access to the best universities in the world. Further information about the IBDP can be found by following this

.

This is a great achievement and, once again, confirms our status as a quality school that is accredited by the leading international educational organisations. Our current Year 11 students will embark on the IBDP in August 2016.

I must pay tribute to all the staff  involved  with the authorisation process. It was a a long and challenging journey but with the right outcome. In particular I would like to thank Ms Diane Vaughan for coordinating the whole process and Mr Christopher Short for his support throughout.

I do hope that you have a wonderful weekend.

Mr Anthony Rowlands, Principal
