Year 9 Trip to Sa Pa 2016

We have just arrived at our homestays in Ban Ho village. We had a very smooth journey, filled with interesting facts and some excellent discussion about how our trip can contribute to the lives of local communities.

Day 1 : 11/10/2016

We have just arrived at our homestays in Ban Ho village. We had a very smooth journey, filled with interesting facts and some excellent discussion about how our trip can contribute to the lives of local communities. We are currently admiring the beautiful surroundings and preparing for dinner.

Look out for more updates over the next few days!

Day 2 : 12/10/2016

Today kicked off with a 6.30am boot camp, followed by breakfast to prepare us for a strenuous day of hiking, problem solving and team building activities in the Amazing Race. Students were pushed to their physical, technical and mental limits and as I write this article, our students are about to complete their final task. Winners to be announced shortly!

Day 3: 13/10/2016

This morning, our students took part in a number of farming activities, experiencing some of the daily tasks undertaken by local farmers. In the afternoon, our students visited Ban Ho Primary School, donating an impressive 18 boxes of clothes to underprivileged children and adults of the community. We also helped build a road which improves quality of living in a number of ways.

Day 4 : 14/10/2016

Last night's Gala Dinner was outstanding and it allowed our students to reflect upon their favourite expedition moments. Today, apart from a short stay in Sa Pa town, has mostly been spent travelling and we are just over one hour away from Hanoi.
