Primary School Council House Team Charity Competition

As Christmas is just around the corner and Tet is drawing closer, we would like to bring your attention to the new ‘Primary School Council House Team Charity Competition’ at British International School Hanoi. During this happy time, we would like to have the opportunity to share donations we have with children and families who are less fortunate than us.

  • Shoe box appeal British International School Hanoi

British International School Hanoi started to work with SOS Village and RICE scholarship as part of our Charity and Community Service and have built great relationships. We have continued to give our support by visiting the SOS village with staff, students and parents for activity sessions and the RICE scholarship have visited us at school and given talks about their work. Last year, Primary children donated 108 shoe boxes, numerous bags of rice and lots of clothes to both of these charities.

This year, we would like to continue and better our success of collecting and donating to SOS Village and to the RICE scholarships.

What can I donate?

1. You can find a shoe box, decorate it and buy items to put in it.
All items should be new – No food or drinks or used items

Essentials
•    Toothbrush
•    Tooth paste
•    Soap
•    A warm item of clothing

Gifts
•    Colouring pencils or pens
•    Writing pencils or pens
•    Notebook
•    Small toy

2. Bags of rice = unopened, any size

3. Second hand, but good quality clothes.

We would value your support as we encourage more pupils to get involved sharing with others in Vietnam.

Primary School Council would like to welcome parents and children to bring all donations to school before Friday 20th January 2017.

If you have any questions, please contact us on the email addresses below or telephone the Primary office.
