We have just experienced a colourful and enjoyable end of term whole school assembly. As is the tradition in the assembly, we present the Principal’s Award to one deserving student from each Year Group who has been a great example of our Aide Memoire. I am pleased to inform you that the following students received the British International School Hanoi Principal’s Award for this term:

You may have read in my previous Hub accounts  that our Year 13 students are currently in the process of applying for Universities all over the world. Four students, all whom have been with the school since we opened in August 2012, have made early entry applications to US Universities and I am thrilled to report the following confirmed offers made to:
1.    Nguyen Ngoc Minh: Stanford University
2.    Ha Quoc Huy: Columbia University
3.    Duong Nguyen Hang Nhi: New York University
4.    Trinh Ngoc Minh Tu : Northeastern University

The above, as we all know, are quality and highly rated US Universities. Additionally, several Y13 students have applications already placed with prestigious UK Universities such as Imperial College London, University College London , The London School of Economics and Political Science, Durham University and others. A few students are also waiting to apply for universities in Canada, Australia, Singapore and Japan. This is a testament to the quality of our students along with the wonderful staff teaching and supporting them.

I do hope that you have a most wonderful festive holiday and we look forward to welcoming our students back to British International School Hanoi on 4th January 2017

Anthony Rowlands, Principal
