Mr Christopher Short Weekly Update 19.02.2016

I hope all our families had a wonderful Tet and a great holiday. Having experienced Tet in Hanoi in my first year in Vietnam, I spent this Tet in HCMC. It was great to be in Vietnam during this important week and see the celebrations at the other end of the country.

Term has started as busy as we are used to at BIS Hanoi. After the reports before Tet, teachers met this week to analyse reports and, in some cases, plan action for individuals to ensure they meet their goals. The first of our IGCSE examinations started this week with our Music performing, there are a few more practical examinations before the main section of written examinations starts on Tuesday 3 May.

Our NAE Hong Kong Games team had a practice this week at a local athletics stadium ahead of their visit to Hong Kong next month.

DoEIA Bronze Expedition is happening this weekend, a full report will appear next week.
