A perfect way for a Principal to spend a day in school!

It has been so special to have started Term 2 on such a positive note. The students have settled back into their routines very quickly and it has been a delight to see them all again after the winter holiday. It is always a pleasure for me to visit our Friday assemblies  and the three that I attended  today were most enjoyable.

In the Secondary assembly, the students were given an insightful presentation regarding the importance of the preservation of wild animals. The presentation was given by Education For Nature Vietnam (ENV), an organisation which does important work in relation to the preservation of wild animals. I also joined the Early Years assembly, where Ms Cat spoke about the importance of one of our key values, ‘Perseverance’ and introduced our superhero ‘Poppy Perseverance’. Some older Primary students also gave a presentation regarding the shoebox appeal that the school has just launched. Finally, in the afternoon, I went to the Primary assembly where Ms Hill gave a lovely talk about making New Year’s Resolutions and the importance of keeping them. A perfect way for a Principal to spend a day in school!

Have a wonderful weekend

Anthony Rowlands, Principal
