For the last 3 years, Alice has worked at Christ Church Primary School in London, UK. During her time there, she has taught both in Year 4 and in Year 5 and has been the Key Stage 2 co-ordinator for Literacy and the Creative Curriculum. Alice is passionate about teaching creatively particularly in literacy where she enjoys using children’s books to inspire writing and has run an after school book club to further enthuse the children she has worked with. She also taught and led Philosophy for Children in her last school and loved these sessions as a way of allowing young children to explore and express new ideas.
In addition to teaching, Alice enjoys cooking, reading, travelling to new places and learning languages. Prior to teaching, Alice lived in Germany and Holland but has never lived anywhere quite like Vietnam! She looks forward to exploring the country and it’s culture and also hopes to learn some Vietnamese.
