I have a specialization in working with children and families. I have worked extensively with children, adolescents, and their families in both the public and independent school sectors. In my role as a school social worker, I have provided clinical interventions on both the individual and group level focused on family turmoil, grief and loss, divorce, oppositional behaviour, anxiety, Autism Spectrum support, ADHD support, and anger management
In addition to my clinical work in schools, I have developed and presented prevention education workshops for middle and high school students on topics like bullying, substance abuse, life skills, and human sexuality.
I have enjoyed working with international communities throughout my career. Needless to say, I was enthusiastic to have the opportunity to work at British International School of Washington, which has such a vast international diversity.
