Vanessa Darroch

Nursery Teacher

I studied at Durham University where I was awarded a Bachelor of Education Honours degree.

I have taught in state and international schools in the UK, Japan, Italy and Belgium before coming to the US.

I enjoy sailing, literature and music. My son is a professor of Paleo-Biology at Vanderbilt University and my daughter is a botanist at Kew Gardens in London.

BISW has that warm, supportive and inclusive atmosphere which I have found to be a common element in all the international schools I have worked in during my teaching career.
