Book Fair – we will have external vendors in school from Wednesday 22nd to Friday 24th March selling a range of books. Students will have an opportunity to make a wish list of books they like, which they can bring home to show you, before purchasing any.

Overview of Learning

Next week we will continue with our work on Non-fiction texts by creating a class big book all about our solar system, which we will then share with other classes across Early Years. As part of Shakespeare Week we will be learning about who William Shakespeare was and what he is famous for. In Early Years we will be focusing on the play ‘Romeo and Juliet’ through the movie ‘Gnomeo and Juliet’. Throughout the week we will be sharing and enjoying a range of books to help promote a love for reading! In maths, we will begin to use our knowledge of addition to add larger numbers together. We will be using our ‘counting on’ skills and will be exploring number bonds.
