Please note that IB and IGCSE exams are taking place and will be taken in the Primary building. The main staircase in B Block will remain closed and all students and adults should use alternative staircases. Writing Key Objectives:

  • Choose adjectives and verbs for effect, using word banks to support their work.
  • Consider what they are going to write before beginning by writing down ideas and/or key words, including new vocabulary.

  • Make simple additions, revisions and corrections to their own writing by evaluating their writing with the teacher and other pupils.

Topic

This will be the final week of our building topic before we move on to our topic Waterworld. As our work comes to end, we will reflect and evaluate  what we have learnt about materials and how they are useful when designing stable structures.

As internationally minded pupils we will consider all the interested facts we have learnt about buildings around the world and create a class quiz using Near-pod, this will consolidate and support our learning.
