Our exceptional educators will spark your child’s creativity, build their resilience, and nurture their wellbeing, ensuring they excel academically and flourish as an individual.

inspiring excellence in your child

Amman Academy is home to the finest teachers in Jordan. Meticulously chosen, they bring a wealth of qualifications and expertise to our classrooms.

All our educators are global citizens with strong Jordanian values. They’re confident bilingual communicators – fluent in both Arabic and English. Our teachers are also keen innovators who are at the cutting-edge of educational best practice. This includes experts who have excelled in the field they teach in, such as physics and design technology.

With one of the lowest teacher-student ratios in the country – just 1 to 8 – our educators get to know each child, identify their strengths, and support them to excel. They’ll do all this in a disciplined yet energetic environment where everyone is motivated to achieve their very best.

Learning comes alive in our virtual reality (VR) lab, as our educators harness the power of VR to create exciting lessons that unlock complex topics in exhilarating ways. In our innovation and science labs, top-of-the-range tech like 3D printers and robotics, immerse our students in hands-on STEAM learning.

Your child will discover a world of opportunities on our Global Campus platform, too. From coding courses and ‘Ask MIT’ Q&As to virtually summiting Mount Kilimanjaro, they’ll collaborate with students across borders, enjoying challenges that pique curiosity and unleash their creativity.

SETTING THE STANDARD

We’re incredibly proud of our track record of academic success, which is driven by our rigorous teaching standards.

It starts with a thorough recruitment process, which includes writing tests, subject-specific assessments, multiple interviews, lesson demonstrations, and strict background checks. This ensures we not only select the highest quality individuals, but that their principles align with our educational ethos. A great testament to this is our track record of being the number one school in Tawjihi Highschool Leaving Certificate for 13 consecutive years. In addition to being one of the highest IB DP averages for over 15 years.

Amman Academy teachers are assessed through structured classroom observations, as well as Nord Anglia’s stringent Quality Assurance Framework. And a strong safeguarding policy ensures our students are safe and supported at school. We’re also a proud member of the Council of International Schools (CIS).
