Principal Munzer Fahoum describes high quality education as a careful balance. “High quality education at the academy is a balance between academic excellence and personal growth,” he explains. That balance is shaped through strong academics, personalised guidance, and real-world experiences that help students connect learning to their purpose.

Students like Cezar Cozak experience this first-hand. “What I love most about the school is how the school guides us… and connects our passion with the career we want to follow,” he says. For his IB personal project, Cezar used his achievements in taekwondo to design a self-defenceprogramme for children with autism. It is a powerful example of how classroom learning can create real-world impact.

This readiness extends beyond graduation. In the past decade, more than 30 Amman Academy students achieved a perfect score of 45 on the IB Diploma, a result earned by fewer than 1% of students worldwide. But what makes these outcomes even more meaningful is the mindset that goes with them.

“Through personalisedsupports and working on real world skills, our rigorous program at Amman Academy prepares students to have the grit, the resilience, and the perseverance to pursue their dreams,” Munzer shares. The school’s collaborations with global leaders like Juilliard, MIT and UNICEF give students further opportunities to explore their interests and push their potential.

For long-time parents like Mrs. Julia Karadsheh, that holistic focus has been clear from the beginning. “Our family joined Amman Academy's community 19 years ago… and both my sons attended from kindergarten until they graduated from high school,” she says. “What kept us here was the fact that we felt that we were very aligned with the school’s mission and values… academic rigour, structure, and also a sense of community.”

That sense of continuity matters. “We have staff members that have been here for 30 plus years,” Munzer adds. “We have students graduating that joined us in kindergarten. It really is a family environment where we all care about each other and we care about the school very much.”
