Our EYFS curriculum
Our youngest children follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. This is adapted to fit our international context.
At this formative stage in their education, our exceptional teachers will guide your child through seven key learning and development areas:
1. Communication and language
2. Physical development
3. Personal, social and emotional development
4. Literacy
5. Maths
6. Understanding the world
7. Expressive arts and design
Your child will explore these themes through multi-sensory play, where they’ll experiment and investigate, sing and dance, create and construct, and generally have a wonderful time. Through topics like ‘Let’s Go Explore’ and ‘Down in the Deep Dark Woods’, our teachers deliver real-life experiences that develop the numeracy, literacy, physical and social skills our students need to thrive.
Personalised learning
We encourage our children to do what they enjoy and take part in activities, themes and topics that engage and excite them. Your child will learn in a maximum class size of 20 with the support of their class teacher and two assistants. This guarantees they get the attention they deserve, and that our teachers have the time to really understand how they learn best.
Getting involved in your child’s education
Our teachers form excellent relationships with our parents. We’ll invite you into class and regularly give you updates about your child’s progress.
Our early years environment
Our dedicated early years area is the perfect place to learn. In our colourful, purpose-built playgrounds and outdoor spaces, your child will enjoy a huge range of learning experiences.
