Our Key Stage 3 curriculum
Our 11 to 14-year-olds follow the English National Curriculum, which is adapted to meet the needs of our diverse international school community.
Your child will study compulsory English, maths, science, and ICT. They’ll also choose from a range of subjects, including Arabic, French, Spanish, media, business studies, art, PE, economics, geography, and history.
In every lesson, our teachers encourage students to get hands-on, think critically, and solve problems. Your child will boost their confidence and communications skills, too, by taking part in debates and giving presentations. They’ll also have the chance to represent the school at a variety of events and join our Student Council.
Learning is enhanced by our collaborations with MIT, UNICEF, and The Juilliard School, as well as day and overnight trips.
Our IGCSE curriculum
At Key Stage 4, our 14 to 16-year-olds study for their IGCSEs. The world’s most popular international qualification, IGCSEs are respected by the best universities and leading employers.
All our students study English language, English literature, maths, science, and PE. Our Muslim students take Arabic and Islamic studies. Your child will also choose three options from a range of subjects, which include business studies, economics, geography, history, psychology, computer science, ICT, French, German, Spanish, art, drama, and music.
Our students are taught by experts in their field: specialist teachers who are passionate about their subjects, and who deliver outstanding learning experiences that get our students thinking critically and creatively.
After two years of hard work, our students sit their exams in May or June. Once a student has passed their IGCSE exams, they’re accepted onto our IBDP.
