Name and a little bit about you:
My name is Simon Pepper, I am a 45-year-old Personal Trainer, Fitness enthusiast, Wellness ambassador and wannabe athlete! I am the father of Charlotte and Oliver who study at BIS Abu Dhabi, and I have been living in Abu Dhabi for over 8 years.

How long have your children been at BIS Abu Dhabi?
Charlotte has been at BIS Abu Dhabi for 8 years and Ollie has been studying here for 5 years!

Where is “home” for you?
Home is in the North of England.

What do you do in Abu Dhabi?
Currently I’m a personal trainer, athlete, and sports ambassador.

What brought you to Abu Dhabi?
I’m originally an Oil & Gas Engineer and I came to Abu Dhabi as a contractor of ADNOC 8.5 years ago.

Tell us something that few people know about you:
I have modelled for Under Armour ME and was once plastered all over the side of the stores in the UAE, until some guy called The Rock took over.

What is your favourite thing about being a part of the BIS Abu Dhabi community?
Witnessing both Charlotte and Ollie’s continuous learning, their development, and the close support of the staff.

What tips or advice would you give to new families joining BIS Abu Dhabi?
Get your children involved in as much CCA’s and extracurricular activities as possible both in school and out, in order to keep them active both physically and mentally.

Simon Pepper, Parent
