Year 6 Elise receives Highly Commended in our NAE Global Campus Visual Arts Competition! We're excited to announce NAE's Global Campus Team have announced BISH Year 6 student Elise has received Highly Commended in our Global Campus Visual Arts Competition, which means that her Visual Arts design will be exhibited at the UN during the High Level Political Forum (HLPF) in New York this July as part of a media display to sit front and centre for government and UN officials to interact with!

Global Campus is part of Nord Anglia Education’s (NAE) online platform which provides a learning environment where our students can create content, work with invited experts and debate with others. Our students learn with over 50,000 students and selected experts around the world through access to a wide variety of courses, information and challenges tailored to their age group.   The content has also been designed to nurture key transferable skills and help students gain the confidence to take initiative, create content, challenge themselves and lead.

Working with students from around the world in this way helps our students develop a global perspective. Students encounter diverse viewpoints on real world issues. They are encouraged to think critically, challenge prevailing attitudes and presumptions and engage with new ideas to develop creative solutions.

One of these experiences is our NAE Global Campus Visual Arts Competition.

This year’s competition focused on the UN’s Global Goal 4: Quality Education and Global Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions. To learn more about the Global Goals, click here

This is an incredible achievement and we cant wait to see Elise's work on display this summer. Be sure to follow our NAE-UNICEF Global Goals Summit on Twitter, as we’ll be sharing pictures of the Arts Exhibit and much more!
