Today we're celebrating three of our #NAEAchievers getting selected to become bloggers for local magazine, The Buzz. We are very proud of Year 11 Viola, Sana and Alexis who will be sharing highlights of their experience as students at #BISHouston.
Viola is originally from Houston but has also lived in St. Johns, Canada and Stavanger, Norway. She has been at BISH since she moved back to the US in 2014, for over 6 years. Viola became a blogger for The Buzz because "it’s a great way to improve my writing skills and practice writing in a professional capacity."
Sana was born in India but has lived most of her life in Malaysia and the United States. She spends a lot of her time painting and making art but has always had a passion for writing. She's been a BISH student for 8 years now and feels a huge sense of pride for our school. "By being a reporter for the School Buzz, I want to share what makes our school so special. The students at BISH achieve brilliant things and, through this platform, we can celebrate all their accomplishments."
Last, but not least, Alexis is a native Houstonian like Viola. She has been a BISH student for about a year and a half now. "I decided I wanted to be a blogger quite recently actually. I have always enjoyed writing, but blogging will be relatively new for me, however I am very excited."
