Preparing for the world stage with Year 9 Isabella

Celebrating NAE Achiever Success. Congratulations Year 9 BIS Houston student Isabella, awarded Destinction Level in the ABRSM Level 5 Opera.

Isabella credits her Performing Arts teachers Mrs Rochell and Ms Lanier who have both been invaluable in teaching Isabella how to be comfortable onstage, show emotion, and interpret different insturments, languages, and harmonies into many of her performances.

"I am extremely grateful to have such amazing and supportive teachers on my side, and am looking forward to continuing my musical passion at BIS Houston. Thank you all for providing me with all the strength and guidance I needed to perform at a Destinction level on the ABRSM. I am a proud student at the British International school of Houston."

We are very proud of Isabella's achievement, whilst our Nord Anglia Education Achiever hopes to go to med school, she aims to continue her passion for Opera and the performing arts.
