At BIS Houston, we believe that mealtimes are very important for a child's learning and development. Our new school lunch menu, provided by Flik Independent School Dining, features a nutritious, delicious range of foods.

There are two options for students to purchase lunches from Flik:
1. Meal Plan (all-inclusive lunch)*
Lunch meals include:
Main Entrée: A daily hot entrée, deli station item, bowl’d station item
Choice of Two Sides: Soup, veggies, starch, yogurt, small salad, fruit
Beverage: Fresh fruit-infused water, juice carton, or milk carton
*Meal plans do not include packaged items, Secondary break snacks, or coffee shop items.
Early Years students who opt into meal plans must preselect their meals for the week.
2. A La Carte Options
Students may purchase items which include:
Meals at lunch
Snacks at break (middle & high school students)
Before and after school purchases
Mykidsspending
BIS Houston uses MyKidsSpending (MKS), a platform that allows you to purchase meal plans and add funds to your child’s Boma account. You will also be able to see the items your child has purchased.
To set up your child’s account, go to www.mykidsspending.com or download the app. You will need your child’s ID number to set up their account.
The ID number can be found in SchoolsBuddy.
- Log into SchoolsBuddy from a browser (not the app) Click on your Profile at the top right, then My Account, then Linked on the left panel.
- Click on the green eye icon on the right side of the screen to view your child’s MKS ID number.

Please be sure to add email reminders to be aware of your child’s purchases and balance. Students will need funds in their accounts in order to make BOMA purchases.
