Students from The British School of Tashkent achieved outstanding results at the German Math Olympiad and Hi-Lingua Language Competition in Frankfurt, Germany, winning multiple Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals against competitors from 47 countries.

Held between 28 April and 3 May 2026, the competitions brought together 384 students from around the world to compete in advanced Mathematics, English, debate, critical thinking, and problem-solving challenges. Representing Uzbekistan on the international stage, BST students secured an impressive total of 31 medals and five Honourable Mentions across both events.

These results reflect the strength of academic learning at BST and the school’s commitment to developing confident, ambitious, and globally minded students.

BST students achieve top results at the German Math Olympiad

Students from The British School of Tashkent earned three Gold medals, one Silver medal, four Bronze medals, two Honourable Mentions, and a top-three placement in an international age category.

Sukhrob delivered one of the standout performances, achieving Gold in both the Math Exam and Math Challenge, as well as 3rd place in his age group. Asila achieved a Gold medal in the Math Exam, while Imron and Samir earned medals across multiple categories, demonstrating strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Amina, Amira, and Rukhshona each secured Bronze medals in the Math Exam, while Imona and Samina received Honourable Mentions.

The German Math Olympiad is recognised for its focus on advanced problem solving, logical reasoning, and mathematical creativity. Students are required to think independently, apply deep conceptual understanding, and perform under challenging examination conditions.

Strong performance in English and communication at Hi-Lingua

BST students also achieved outstanding success at the Hi-Lingua Language Competition, securing seven Gold medals, ten Silver medals, six Bronze medals, and three Honourable Mentions across English-based challenges.

The competition focuses on debate, persuasive writing, public speaking, collaboration, and critical thinking. These skills are essential for future academic and career success.

In the Quiz Challenge, Mokhira, Sukhrob, and Imron each achieved Gold medals. In the Real-Life Games category, Temur, Islom, and Sukhrob also secured Gold medals.

In Debate, Amina, Amira, and Samina each earned Silver medals. In the Essay Challenge, Mokhira achieved Bronze, while Samina secured Silver. Islom and Rukhshona received Honourable Mentions.

In the English Exam category, Imona achieved a Gold medal. Sukhrob, Asila, Imron, Amina, and Mokhira each secured Silver medals, while Samina, Rukhshona, Islom, Temur, and Amira were awarded Bronze medals. Samir also received an Honourable Mention.
