Stop Press: Congratulations to Patrick and his team for their win at the 2019 Across Asia Youth Film Festival in HCMC for Best Special Effects.

Our Year 12 students, Patrick, Jack, Charlotte, Christopher and Maggie, have worked to produce a short film titled "The Clutches of the Curtain" for the Across Asia Youth Film Festival 2019.

244 films were entered into the competition by 101 schools from 15 countries and we are delighted to announce that "The Clutches of the Curtain" has been shortlisted to win a number of awards. Patrick Hayes (Director) and Jack Griffin were also successful in last year's awards.

Story
From the producers of the multi-award winning AAYFF film "War Photographer", "The Clutches of the Curtain" documents the story of a successful East German film director, as he grows increasingly tired of the censorship and control of the Soviet Union. Because of this, he feels the only option left open to him is to escape East Berlin.

Stop Press: Congratulations to Patrick and his team for their win at the 2019 Across Asia Youth Film Festival in HCMC for Best Special Effects.
