  • Did you know?

We just launched our very first BISB cookbook made by our wonderful PTA.

We have successfully started our skating season.
This year we are using two ice-skating rinks. Reception and Years 1, 2 and 3 are skating in the same place as last year, the Lamac Ice Arena, and Years 4, 5 and 6 are based in the Dubravka Hobba arena.

During the first few weeks, we divided the students into groups according to their abilities: complete beginners, intermediate group, advanced and advanced plus. The children are gradually progressing and it is amazing to see how they cope with the challenge on ice.

I can confidently say all of them are able to keep their balance on skates, march, skate forward and many of them can now skate backwards. The older year groups are very good at slalom, lemon style, deceleration and absolutely all of the students are getting better and better from lesson to lesson.

We are very lucky to have a nice group of professional instructors, who give our students the best. The children are very happy and all are looking forward to the next lesson, which is the most important thing for us to see.
