This half-term, Year 4 have been learning all about food and restaurants in our IPC Unit – ‘What’s on the Menu?’. Throughout the course of the eight-week unit, the children have researched and chosen a cuisine which they wanted to cook, come up with a name, logo and slogan for their restaurant and devised a three-course menu which came to life in their IPC Exit Point on Thursday, 3rd December.
The children worked all day, preparing, chopping, kneading, frying, baking all while having fun and behaving safely in the kitchen. At the end of the day, the children presented their restaurants to our guest judges: our Principal - Mr. Ferguson, our Facilities Manager - Mr. Eric Liu, our Cafeteria Manager – Mr Reed Deng and our surprise judge, our Primary Music Teacher – Ms. Cheena.
