We know that the upcoming year has many areas of uncertainty, and we too share your feelings about this. Next week we will send you further information about our plans for next year, as we have a better understanding of our options for August. We will answer many of the questions we have received recently, and hopefully provide reassurance for the year ahead. We remain confident of being able to fulfil our promises to you and to continue to provide the high quality education you expect for your children.
Since the beginning of summer, accidents involving children wading in rivers and pools have been frequent throughout China. The Dragon Boat Festival holiday is approaching, we recommend parents should take precautions when out and about. Children who can swim are also at risk of drowning. It doesn’t mean that they can jump into a river and save lives. Parents and guardians should be vigilant all the time.
Due to the outbreak of Corona Virus this year, we cannot offer drowning prevention and self-rescue courses for students in our school swimming pool, but we were able to study a film and learn the precautions children should take in our PE classes. A special thank you to the staff of Sichuan Blue Sky Rescue Team for shooting the prevention drowning education film for children. Our students in kindergarten, primary school and secondary school were all immersed in the film and benefited a lot. Teachers, parents and guardians should work together to guard the safety of our children and enable a healthy and safe environment for them.
