Mount Everest Global Campus Challenge

Standing at 8848m above sea level Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the world. Approximately 800 people attempt to climb Mount Everest each year and endure long days of climbing, in extreme weather conditions and at high altitude. Could you take on the challenge of getting to the Summit? 1996 floors is all it takes!

GC

In May, the Nord Anglia Global Campus initiative will offer an exciting Fitness and Wellbeing Challenge. It will be called the Virtual Everest Challenge. In this challenge, teams of up to 5 people will track and measure climbing flights of stairs to total the height of the world's tallest mountain; Mount Everest. From May 4th - May 28th, these groups will log their total flights climbed to try and achieve the climbing of 1996 flights of stairs(1 floor = 3m),or 5988m total. We will be able to post our progress on the Global Campus website and share our adventure with our Nord Anglia family from around the globe.
