In Pre-Nursery, we see literacy as the joyful beginning of each child’s communication and love for language. Our focus is on nurturing curiosity, enjoyment, and confidence around words, sounds, and stories.

It has been wonderful walking around our Primary school and seeing some of the awesome scientific things happening in our classrooms. From our youngest children all the way to our Year 6 children, everyone has been putting their scientific skills to the test.

In May, the Nord Anglia Global Campus initiative will offer an exciting Fitness and Wellbeing Challenge. It will be called the Virtual Everest Challenge.

PHE parent workshop

A brief update from me this week, as I look ahead to a day of interviews at OTOS, the Nord Anglia annual recruitment event. Hiring the very best teachers is our priority and with this in mind I have been speaking with a number of highly experienced and motivated candidates to see who will join our team next year.

It has been a week to celebrate success here in school. Our Volleyball teams joined our Basketballers in winning their respective tournaments.

Welcome to our first newsletter of 2020! It has been a busy start to our year, and we are looking forward to many exciting events and fantastic learning to come.

Mrs. Cheryl Heryes and Mr. Ben Lepp were on their way to New York City to once again attend a professional development opportunity that focuses on the Juilliard Dance Program.

We are delighted to announce that as a whole school, we have managed to raise a total amount of 7,856RMB for the Read to Feed programme. The money raised will be sent directly to Heifer International to help rural families within the Chengdu area to become more self-sufficient and help them to sustain their livestock.

May 30th, our entire student body performed and showcased their talents and skills in music, dance and drama. We are very proud of the outcome of our performances.
