Student Journalist in Action

What do you think will happen if you join our “Student Journalist in Action” team? Just think of all the amazing perspectives and views you can explore, the wonderful people you can meet and the issues you can discover that concern the students of your home away from home, Léman.

You could find out about Kim Chicken, delving into the thoughts and feelings that Léman students have towards chickens? 

Or investigate the wailing banshee that sings mathematical songs on the first floor, do you dare to explore?

Or inform your fellow classmates just why the NY Rangers is the BEST HOCKEY TEAM whilst showcasing the sporting events at Léman. 

Or even explore what it means to be a mixture of multiple cultures and how to best deal with traveling from one country to another. 

Léman students come from all over the world and here in our campus we have our own global environment – do you want to know about these locations we come from and find out more about downtown Toronto for example?

We are pleased to announce that our first “Student Journalist in Action” team has been established！

Starting with 18 students from Years 6 to 13, led by Ms. Tina Chen and Ms. June Ju, from the Léman marketing department. Plenty of opportunities will be given to students at different editing levels to showcase their talent and skills. It’s a chance to get involved with the leaders of Chengdu and to give a voice to the students within the local community. Record the stories of the schools that Léman generously helps. Document the living history of Léman, this time and place is special. Your voices are special, and we want you to know that we support you in your desire to inform, explore and to express your voice within our community and abroad.

This project provides a real-life experience to develop our students’ social media skills and have an impact on our wonderful journey that can only happen at Léman.  

Let’s make this a cause that we all will cherish and remember for a lifetime!
