This  past weekend, a hardy group of Grade 3-5 boys traveled to Nanjing with Ms Dracz and Mr McCarthy to partake in the first-ever Global Games China U11 Football Tournament held at BSN. It was a huge undertaking, with 10 boys teams and 6 girls teams as well.

Over the course of three full days, our boys played 10 matches against our sister schools from all over China. Whilst they had a tough road, facing some really high-level competition, our amazing coaches kept their spirits high and their determination unwavering. Eventually we broke through to score a huge goal and gain second place in the Shield Final. We are extremely grateful to Ms Felicia and Mr Paul for taking on this challenge and helping the boys work so well against long odds. We also graciously thank the player families for supporting this trip and our Athletics program. We will always face a challenge amidst the Nord Anglia group in Football, but it only inspires us to work hard and be better!

Closer to home, the U19 Basketball and U15 Volleyball seasons are ready to go and we are also excited about CISA and ACAMIS Cross-Country coming up next week. We live the opportunity for our student-athletes to compete and to challenge themselves every day. Go Red Pandas!
