Special Shout out:

The PE department would like to acknowledge one of our greatest supporters and her very supportive family. Mrs. Norma Mota and her family (Jose, Natalia & Sebastian) will be leaving the school at the end of the month. Norma has always been a very prominent member of the LFA and the sporting community. We are very sorry to see the family leave LIS as they have all brought a great deal to the school community. Good luck to all in their next adventure!

New house shirts:

After a long stretch the old house shirts have finally been retired. We now have brand new house shirts with new logos, new quick dry sports material and a whole new design.

We researched the house characters and their amazing history and discovered that they are the Four Guardians of the Four Compass Directions & Celestial Emblems of the Chinese Emperor. They represent:

Black Tortoise (Black Warrior) = North, Winter, Black, Water
White Tiger (Kirin) = West, Fall, White, Metal
Red Bird (Phoenix) = South, Summer, Red, Fire
Blue Dragon = East, Spring, Blue/Green, Wood

The shirts are for sale in the clothing store now.

The old house shirts may still be worn for PE and house activities.
