Monday 12th to Thursday 15th March was the second of the Léman Challenge weeks.
We collected a huge amount for the local hospital, THANK YOU to all who contributed.
On Tuesday afternoon students from Grades SK to 11 took part in mathematical activities in House Group teams. They solved codes, ran relays, made shapes with tangrams and solved Tarsia. It was so wonderful to see such high levels of school spirit and students of all ages working and helping each other to solve the problems. Even when the problem was really tricky, all students happily worked with the hints given to them to try and figure it out. Every single house group came in smiling and laughing, all for the fun of mathematics!
On Wednesday was our traditional PI day competition well done to all the competitors and particularly Ellie in SK our youngest participant and Mr Ben Lepp who recited 314 digits of PI. Afterwards the students enjoyed giving some staff pie in the face!
