Our students always impress and Tuesday morning’s interviews with 26 prospective House and Vice Captains did not disappoint. Applying for the elusive position to be the Primary School leaders of Hanoi, Saigon, Dalat and Hue - Year 6 articulated their understanding of this leadership role with confidence.

The students began talking about how they had been inspired by previous House Captains and were motivated and determined to be a role model to their peers and younger students. Our Super Heroes: Care, Respect, Enquiry, Reflection, Integrity and Perseverence were also spoken about as the characteristics that they would need to demonstrate and celebrate in others. One particular highlight was listening to the students talk about the amazing opportunities they feel they get from coming to school at BIS.

Listening to these eloquent orators was a pleasure and made our decision incredibly difficult. All 26 students have been incredibly successful and should be proud of the way they presented themselves. Whether successful or not this time, these students are future leaders who will change our world for the better and we are delighted to support them on their learning journey at BIS.
