Weekly update from Head of Primary

Dear Parents,

What another exciting week it has been in the Primary School! It is wonderful seeing the students settle into their routines. Over the course of the week, we saw Egyptian Gods and Goddesses, mummies and archaeologists visiting in Year 4 whilst Year 2s were out exploring their local area to find living and non-living things.

Year 6 students, this week, had their first meeting with Mrs Brawn as they began their preparation for Year 7. An assembly in the Theatre on Wednesday gave our Year 6 students the chance to ask any questions about Secondary school.

The highlight of my week was meeting the Primary House and Vice Captains face to face this week for a chat at break time over hot chocolate. They were keen to share ideas about how they can fully embrace their role this term and came up with some great ideas that I look forward to sharing with you as the term progresses. They did a great job delivering a school tour to show some of our new parents around the campus this morning.

Well done to everyone on a fantastic week! Please enjoy the learning spotlight on Year 4 below.

Wishing you all a wonderful long weekend with family and friends!
