Weekly update from Head of Primary

Dear Parents,

Over the last few weeks and months, the Primary Student Council have been working hard with Ms Clark to set up the Rising Stars Talent Show. The semifinalists we announced last week in registration time by the Primary House Captains. Next week sees the first of our live semi finals for Phase 1. We are extremely proud of the Student Council’s work in setting up and organising such an exciting event for Primary students after a challenging year this year.

Our ECA program is well underway now. It is wonderful to see how many students have signed up for activities at the end of the school day. ECAs are a great way to try out new activities, follow your passions and interests or just connect with new students through fun and engaging activities.

Year 5s have been out and about this week, testing their parachutes and seeing how successful their designs and creations are. On Monday, they are also looking forward to their summer camp experience day with activities designed to provide experiences for the students to hook them in and provide real life experiences to deepen their understanding of their learning over the rest of the term. It is also the turn of Year 5 to share their Spotlight on learning this week.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend,

Rebecca Carroll

Head of Primary
