It was extremely well organised and had as its main focus the primacy of teaching and learning, resonating strongly with us as leaders. With a blend of central presentations from the stage, round-the-table discussions and ‘soapbox’ presentations, it had a great deal of variety and bite to keep us engaged and thinking.
There is a wealth of talent, for sure, in this regional group; from them, we can gain further insights, share ideas and invite others to our school. There certainly is rich collaboration ahead, and superb opportunities for our students. One such example is the Regional Games Festival at Regent’s International School, Pattaya (Thailand) being organised for November next year. They will no doubt be other occasions for this student association.
