They competed in a variety of swimming races against other international schools from across Hanoi. We was really proud of how our children conducted themselves throughout the day. They congratulated other teams on their achievements, watched every race, whether BVIS students were competing or not, and cheered enthusiastically for every member of our team. Their positive attitude was a credit to our school.
Swimming is a very important life skill for all children to learn. Not only is it good fun, a chance to socialise and good for children’s health, but also a skill that could save their lives. Children’s participation in swimming is vital so that every child has the opportunity to learn to swim and gain core knowledge regarding water safety.
The success of sporting events such as these positively reflects the time and effort that is provided at BVIS Hanoi by the staff, and the dedication and perseverance of our children. I felt proud to be a part of such a fun event. Well done to all the children who took part in the Gala.
